Formula from a French Expatriate

South of France^® Natural Body Care was founded in 1999. Since then, it has become one of the top-selling brands of all natural bar soaps and liquid hand soaps sold nationally. The original South of France soap formula was developed by a French expatriate in the US and manufactured in France using a traditional Marseille triple-milled recipe. Today, South of France^® soap is manufactured in the USA, still kettle cooked in small batches using this traditional Marseille recipe with all natural vegetable ingredients. 

The Owners

South of France Natural Body Care is owned by two sisters, Molly & Katherine Oliver. As mothers, with a love of Provence and a legacy in natural products, they continue to expand the collection with scents that evoke happy memories of times spent wandering through small towns, picnic-ing in the countryside and playing with their children on the beaches along the Mediterranean sea. They hope to transport you with these luxuriously experiential products, even if only for a quick daydream in your pampering morning shower experience!

No Animal Testing

These products have also been certified by the Coalition for Consumer Information on Cosmetics’ Leaping Bunny Program. No animal testing is used in any phase of product development by South of France Natural Body Care, its laboratories or suppliers. Further, these products do not contain animal products or byproducts and that have not been tested on animals.

FSC Certification

Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certification ensures that products come from responsibly managed forests that provide environmental, social and economic benefits.  They make a conscious effort in our everyday work to recycle, re-use and reduce waste. All of the packaging is recyclable and this brand encourages you to do your part to be green.

Soap

The luxuriously lathering all-vegetable soap is triple-milled in the Marseille tradition for a pampering cleansing experience. Coconut Oil and sustainable Palm Oil create a creamy lather; natural Glycerin combines with organic Shea butter to leave your skin soft and deeply moisturized.

Their French triple-milled process results in a longer lasting and moisturizing bar that enhances this transformational and luxurious experience. Never tested on animals, the natural Bar and Liquid Hand Soaps are free of synthetic foaming agents like sodium lauryl/laureth sulfate, as well as glutens, EDTA, parabens, and phthalates.
