Germination Kits

The best way to start learning about planting seeds is but understanding the four steps of germination:

  • Imbibition: water fills the seed.
  • The water activates enzymes that begin the plant's growth.
  • The seed grows a root to access water underground.
  • The seed grows shoots that grow towards the sun.
  • The shoots grow leaves and begin photomorphogenesis.

Single serve mini microgreens kits are a fun and inexpensive way to start growing microgreens for sandwiches, salads and garnishes. Our varieties include radish, salad, mustard and arugula.
